Trailer and anchor

I have had trailer problems ever since I drove the boat from Myrtle Beach to Savannah. Two weeks ago, I took the passenger side trailer to plug the tire and re balance. I am hoping this solves some of my trailer problems.
The next problem is the passenger side light. It has not worked since I had it. I first purchased a new trailer wire, because I had seen frayed wires near the trailer plug. Once I finished installing the wire, I realized that there was more than the frayed wire. The passenger's side light had lost a wire connection into the watertight light. I did not see an easy way to rewire this without destroying the watertight seal. I went to the nearby Autozone and bought a replacement light.

I also learned to use butt fuses with watertight shrink wrap. I struggled earlier in the day with a hair drier trying to get the shrink wrap to tighten. I ended up going to Harbour Freight and buying a heat dryer that was on sale. With this the watertight shrink wrap worked great. Its usually all about having the right tools.

Now the trailer is set. Minus the license plate. That will be for another day.
The other project for the weekend was the installation of an anchor pipe. This is a spot to mount the anchor at the front of the boat out of the way. I think it turned out well. I may add another rope clew on the pipe so that I can get most of the anchor rode on the pipe.
